Andrea Adamo has been in the spotlight in the last days because of team Hyundai Motorsport results, but the Team Principal seems to be involved in something more serious, a sexual assault.
There is an ongoing investigation about sex assault, harassment, both performed by Andrea Adamo. Not many information has been revealed as the investigation is taking place, but the 50 years old Team Principal seems to have used his post to not only abuse a woman but also for intimidating her into not getting her work done. Hyundai Motorsport has been facing difficult times with the team seeing what looked a possible victory slipping away after another broken suspension, this time at Safari Rally Kenya. For three rallies in a row, the team had similar problems. Sources confirm the drivers are focused, mainly Thierry Neuville and Dani Sordo, despite the last one not have contract with the team, whereas Ott Tänak has been less focused in getting to the finish line.

According to one of the team logistic members, Andrea Adamo usually pays with team money hotel and dinner to the women he sets up meetings with.
Hyundai Motorsport dark days seem a clear result of the distraction going on the team, mostly caused by the lack of focus from Andrea Adamo, and having direct effect on high skilled drivers such as Thierry Neuville. Andrea Adamo pointed the cars have been using some parts from 2017, three times in a row the cars let the podium slip away with broken suspension… with this all, a question arises, Andrea Adamo spends team money with women, why he does not manage it well and spend where he is supposed to, in the quality performance the team used to show?
The team is going through changes in the structure, having Alain Penasse seen his contract with the team coming to an end after working together for many years.
